Garie Beach in Wollongong
About Garie Beach
Garie Beach is one of the best beaches in Australia for many reasons. Not only does it have a carpark, but you can also enjoy going there with your family and friends because they offer amenities such as toilets or even surf safety classes if needed!
The famous landmark that made this place so great was once destroyed by fire but has since been rebuilt into what we know now: A Youth Hostel which unfortunately burned down again on December 2010 before reconstruction could be completed making this Australian beauty vulnerable yet still beautiful at heart.
The conditions at Garie Beach vary and are ever changing. Strong Rips, Sudden Drop-Offs and hazardous surf make this a dangerous place to swim even for the most experienced swimmers when waterfront homes with their close proximity can cause parents not always be aware of what's going on around them as waves pound against rocks below making noise levels high enough that they may miss out important warning signs if there were any present because it becomes easy become distracted by all things happening around us while we're busy taking care our children or doing other tasks such as work.
What to do at Garie Beach?
Garie Beach is a perfect day out for all sorts of activities, from swimming to whale watching. The walk along this beautiful coast line offers you some great views and interesting things that might be hidden in your path like old WWI bunkers or military bases which were once used by Australians during World War II. The best time at Gari Beach will always keep me coming back!
The Garie Beach has some of the best surfing waves in Sydney and is a very popular family beach destination. The Surf Life Saving Club will provide an essential community service, keeping people safe at this beautiful spot! It also houses one if Australia's most active boardriders clubs-Gariboardriders with over 100 members on average who have been continuously running since 1978. They take their sport seriously but still enjoy having fun together outside competition season too; just like any other friends you might know from school or work would do...
